Plumtree played their first show at the one and only Cafe Ole in June, 1993. . According to Lynette, who wrote in about the band "I never know what to say about the "what kind of music do you play" question but Joel Plaskett described us as the Go Go's meets AC/DC. Hmmmm... I don't know about that." They are a unique band with a rockin' sound.
